GUILLAUME CARTRON, MD, PhD 

Pr. Guillaume Cartron is the Head of the Hematology Department at Montpellier-Nimes University Hospital where he has developed state of the art expertise in the field of lymphoproliferative disorders with a special focus in immunotherapy approaches. He is also a founding member of the LYSA, and a member of its scientific council, as well as the president of the CALYM (Carnot Lymphoma) steering committee and the director of the EVOCAN University Hospital Federation which brings together 300 researchers from the University of Montpellier involved in cancer research.

​He made significant contributions to immunology and cell biology and, particularly helped understanding the role of ADCC and NK-cells in the therapeutic activity of anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies.

 

He is the author of more than 300 publications, member of the UMR-CNRS 5535 and responsible of the "resistance to treatments" program in the SIRIC Montpellier Cancer research consortium.
