
Prof. de Gramont has been the Head of the Oncology Department at Franco-British Hospital, Levallois-Perret, France from 2014 to 2025. Between 2001 and 2014, he was the Head of the Internal Medicine/Oncology department at Saint-Antoine Hospital, Paris, France. Starting in hematology, he later focused his clinical research on gastro-intestinal (GI) and gynaecological cancers. He created two cornerstone standards of care regimens, FOLFOX and FOLFIRI, now used in several cancer indications, and chaired many large international trials especially in colorectal cancer. He founded the Multidisciplinary French cooperative group GERCOR, and ARCAD Foundation dedicated to research and care for GI cancer patients.
He is the author of more than 400 publications.
